Website 2.0 Launch
Welcome to my new website!
After spending almost two years building, breaking, and iterating a website on Google Sites, I’ve migrated to Squarespace. I initally went with Google Sites because it is a tool I frequently use in the classroom. After all, if I’m teaching with a digital tool, then I try to use it within my own professional practice as much as possible. Google Sites is great for classroom portfolios or for Google-committed educators who aren’t going for a truly customized feel. While I’ll still keep my old site around for demonstration purposes, this is my new central platform.
What’s new on Website 2.0 is the blog. I’ll post information here on projects in progress and details about upcoming speaking and faculty development gigs. As always, my OER will be cataloged on the Resources page.
What’s Coming Soon?
In the next few weeks, I will be launching the first open-access installment in my new (tentatively titled) Empower Your Learning series, a set of course-agnostic modules encompassing topics related to literacy, education, and productivity.
As always, thanks for reading. If you have questions about any of my content or have ideas for collaboration, please contact me at gabrielle@gabriellestecher.com.
