Bringing Elizabeth Taylor to Brunch

My work studying and learning from the lives of creative women is never done, but this week marked an exciting milestone. Yesterday evening, I made my international radio debut on Adelaide Mornings with David Bevan, thanks to a producer from the Australian Broadcasting Corporation who reached out after reading a profile I wrote late last year for Senses of Cinema on Elizabeth Taylor. ABC Local Radio, for those of us in the US, is a bit like PBS meets the BBC. The popular segment “Guess Who’s Coming to Brunch” surveys the life and legacy of a historical figure. It was an absolute pleasure to discuss Taylor’s career, core relationships, and business sense.

You can read my profile of Taylor for Senses of Cinema here.

As always, thanks for reading. If you have questions about any of my content or have ideas for collaboration, please contact me at gabrielle@gabriellestecher.com.
